Wondering if anyone has experience on the Yadkin River shoals near Eastbend fishing for small mouth? I’m a fly fisher and want to give it a shot. Any tips or experience info would be awesome, I don’t think it’s a kept secret spot but want to make sure I’m going to the right spot. I live close to WS and it’s one of the closest spots to get on a small mouth. Looking to wade in the bean shoals or Ivy bluff trails.. also would like to go to the more shallow side since I’ll be wading and like to keep it safe.

Anybody planning on getting out next weekend? Trying to see so I know where not to go lol! Kidding but just curious.. I’m thinking SMSP but worried about the crowds
