Before & After: Transformed my dated rental kitchen without replacing the cabinets or spending a fortune 🌿

The kitchen was my biggest ick of this house and I only had a week to try and improve it, I used peel and stick vinyl on the floor, the wall tiles and counters. Painted the cabinets and changed the handles to a champagne gold. Ignore the pile of moving boxes in the last pic, but wanted to show my new smeg fridge also.

Bought a second-hand Smeg FAB32V4…how long do these actually last?

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a second-hand pastel green Smeg fridge freezer for £400 (plus £130 delivery). It looks to be in excellent cosmetic condition and is currently cooling and freezing as it should.
The rating plate says:
**Model:** FAB32V4
**Serial:** [41222 0932](tel:41222%200932)
The eBay listing described it as a **FAB32RPG3UK**, so I’ve contacted Smeg to ask whether those are actually the same model and to confirm the manufacturing date.
After looking online, I’m now worried the FAB32V4 may be much older than I expected.
My questions are:
Does anyone own or repair these older FAB32 models?
How reliable are they in your experience?
Is buying one that’s potentially 15–20 years old a bad idea if it’s working well now?
Are spare parts still generally available?
I’d really appreciate hearing from people with first-hand experience rather than general lifespan estimates. Thanks!
