I wasn't even planning to sell my ticket for MCR but I finally got the option to sell and was curious what the offer would be since I've seen others post theirs. For my $616 ticket (stupidly panic bought at presale with insane surge pricing that I will never ever do again) they are offering me E I G H T (8!!!!) D O L L A R S. I've sold a ticket directly back to TM before and it was bad but nowhere THIS egregious. Like my jaw is on the fucking floor. Tickets in my section are still in abundance and currently a 1/3rd the cost of what I paid and dropping. I'm so upset with myself for wasting so much money when I still could have gone and waited to buy way cheaper tickets for the same view :')

From what I've seen in this sub, plenty of full grown adults use this app (I am one of them). So it confuses me why the app/bird is so.... infantilized? I've used this app for like four years, my bird is an "adult" so why does it still act like a child? As I've progressed in my own journey, I've found it harder and harder to really "relate" to my bird, because they are just SO naïve and child like, they don't seem much different in personality than when I first started the app. The clothing also doesn't help with this. I feel like the only aesthetic options are: dress like a man or dress like a baby lol)

Anyway, question is the title. What demo is the app targeting and why does it feel WAY younger than the actual demo that uses it?

ETA: thanks for the responses! I definitely hear everyone's point. I think I may have just outgrown what was once a self-focused habit building app that has become more game-ified.

Also just want to clarify, I do NOT think that inappropriate language or themes should be added to the app lol. I just wish that my bird grew up and progressed WITH ME on this journey, rather than being a perpetual child I have to care for. I wanted the bird to be an extension of me, right now, not a pet, a child, or my own inner child. That's not what the app is and that's okay!

If anyone has recs for habit tracking apps that aren't so youthful, please lmk!

I've done so much research and tried 4-5 different glues, and I can't seem to find anything that works for what I'm trying to achieve. Here's the run down

- securing PLASTIC to BONE
- cannot be clamped together while glue sets due to the shape of both the bone and the plastic (the plastic piece is a long thin spike)
- need something STRONG but FAST DRYING because I cannot hold the plastic piece for 30 mins waiting it to set, and again there is absolutely no way to clamp or otherwise secure it without physically holding it
- i've used: gorilla hot glue, 2 types of super glue, e6000, and a silicone adhesive. these either easily come off or i can't hold it together long enough to actually set it properly because it has a very long drying time
- i do not have the space/materials to do resin

I know this is a long shot but idk where else to ask, hoping someone will have a suggestion 🥲
