Help! Found a disoriented mouse.

Found this extremely tiny mouse on a busy path and it wasn’t really moving out of the way as people passed. I was able to catch it easily to get it out of the way, and have brought it home. It’s chilling in a box full of shredded paper right now. It’s moving around slowly but shaking a lot. Any idea what type of mouse it is and what I should do? I’m in Northern Ireland.

Help with memory of Castle Archdale Country Park

Posting this for my husband who’s not on Reddit:

I’m trying to find out whether anyone remembers, or ideally has photos of, the old children’s playground at Castle Archdale Country Park in Fermanagh before it was replaced.

I visited it several times as a child, between 1992 and 1995, and I have a very specific memory of the slide, which was a large black or grey rock pyramid shaped structure. I recall climbing up the back and then sliding down a long stainless-steel slide at the front.

I don’t remember the rest of the playground very clearly, but this slide structure is one of my strongest childhood memories.

I’ve searched online and can only find photos of the current castle-themed playground, which was built much later.

Does anyone else remember this old play structure, or have any photos of the playground from the late 1980s, 1990s or early 2000s?

Even a photo with the playground in the background would be hugely appreciated!

Getting to Grand Central on the 12th

I need to drop someone off at Grand Central on the afternoon of the 12th. I understand the main parades are happening on the 13th this year, so I’m hoping it’ll be easy enough, but as someone not from here I feel like I’m very easily caught out by random parades and road closures.

I’d be heading into town from near Ballyhack, so roughly along the glider route. I’ve checked the parades commission website, and all seems ok. But I’m still paranoid. Is there likely to be any issue on that corridor or in the centre of town that I should plan for?

Playing around with LoStone clay

I bought a few samples of the new LoStone from Valentines Clay and was excited to use the different body colours together. Think I’ll probably order some of the other colours and play around a bit more! The ones used here are Frost, Ember and Sea Mist.

I found the clay dried a lot faster than some other clays I’ve used. Had a crack on the moon jar after bisque where I joined the two slabs, but the glaze at least filled it!
