EDF Smart Charging | Unknown

I’m not seeing previous charges or dispatches in the EDF side panel. I’ve noticed the car is marked as unknown.

I deleted and reinstalled the addon at 09:47 this morning.
Other than viewing these logs, I believe everything is working. I’d like to get this to work so I receive notifications of cheap times and can enable some automations. Thx. It’s been like this since first installed.

This error originated from a custom integration.

Random Squeak | What is it?

This squeaking noise just started today. Does anyone know what it is. I’d be really happy if someone could offer any advice or If they’ve heard it before. It’s not the wheel nuts. They’re tight

The photo is when the car was stationary. The noise is a voice note when driving.

Feature Request | Dual Rate Meters

I have a Smets 2 smart meter previously used for Economy 10, with separate R1 (day) and R2 (night) readings.
While on Octopus IOG, they used the Total Import Reading (R1 + R2), which correctly showed 11,000 kWh. R2 was not incrementing at the time, but the total was accurate.
EDF is now only using the R1 register (7,000 kWh) and ignoring both the R2 register (4,000 kWh) and the Total Import (11,000 kWh). This has left my Glow IHD showing 4,000 kWh too low.
Questions:

  1. Can EDF supply the R1, R2, and Total Import readings for my meter via this add-on?

  2. Does anyone know if the Hildebrand Glow can read the individual R1/R2 (Day/Night) registers from the Smets 2 meter, rather than just the total?

Smart Charging | Unplugged

My question specifically is referring to the Mennekes** **charging cable.

Has anyone had an issue where your electricity suppliers smart ev tariff thinks the car is not plugged in. (Possibly not plugged in at home).

I have two Mennekes charging cables. One is 3 metres the other I believe is 7.5 metres long.

The location that I park the car when using the 7.5M cable, the smart charge only works after I’ve plugged/ unplugged both ends of the cable. Toggled the smart charging button on/ off and revoked and added the virtual key.

When I park it at another location using the 3M length cable the car schedule appears much quicker with less fiddling.

I’m unsure if the issue is due to there being a fault with the 7.5M cable or the mobile phone reception.

The strange thing is, if I start a manual charge both cables work as expected.

Do the cables use a comms pin out?

I do need to do more testing using the 7.5M cables where i park the car where i would normally use the 3M cable.

I’m just wondering if anyone hasn’t heard of a cable going faulty but only with smart charging.

Switched Today. Questions

Hi all, ive switch over fully today. My Solar Export moved over a few days ago and my import this morning.,

I have a question.

When i was with Octopus i had two MPANs one for import and one for export.
I also have two serial numbers, one for import, the other for export.

Using this addon, i the following has been picked up.

L+G - E470 - S2 • Energy • 14 entities

As you can see, both have been picked up as an export meter and they have individual serial numbers but share a MPAN.

Should i just rename the one of them to Electricity Meter Import and stop worrying?

Has anyone else had this happen?
