This phone is absolutely insane, I am ready to switch but none of the current or soon-to-come-out options look too hot

I bought this thing when it came out, dropped it like at least 50 times (with a cover) the back is completely broken, up to and including the camera bump but somehow it still runs absolutely perfectly (changed the battery once).

I am ready to get something new this year but honestly none of the options seem worth it. The iPhone 17 looks like an absolute steal, but I have to say, going with a Pro was really worthwhile. My Partner has the 13 and especially since ios26 it's way more laggy. Long-term the Pro just really pays off.

The iphone 17pro seems like a bad deal by comparison, especially for a klutz like me, I am vary about breaking the aluminium. The 18pro doesn't look super interesting either and spending 2.5k on a Ultra seems excessive too.

Now that I have had this for so long, if I eventually replace it I want something that I am equally excited about using daily for the next 5 years, but somehow none of the options seem like that much of an upgrade.

Anybody else in this situation? What do you have your eyes on?

I really want to get into a new adventure but currently only have very little dedicated gaming time and usually only squeeze in 30 minutes while watching something or before bed. Unfortunately most JRPGs don’t really translate well to that kind of gaming.

So what JRPGs can you recommend that don’t require your full attention and don’t suffer too much if you play them with sound off on occasion.

Alot of GBA/DS era games obviously lend themselves to that but would also love to get some newer suggestions.

Either Switch or Steam Deck would be great.
