Field-tested over three years in real conditions from Rajasthan's desert heat to mountain trails, snow at -10°C, and river crossings.
They're still holding their shape after years of daily use.
Go with 100% cotton
Some applications-
Arm sling: Support an injured arm or shoulder.
Pressure bandage: Hold dressings in place and apply pressure to help control bleeding.
Improvised tourniquet (last resort): Only for life-threatening limb bleeding when direct pressure fails, and only if you know how to use one correctly.
Head wrap or bandage: Cover scalp wounds or secure dressings.
Dust or smoke mask: Reduce inhalation of dust, sand, or debris (not a substitute for a respirator).
Water pre-filter: Remove large debris before disinfecting or filtering water. It does not make water safe to drink by itself.
Splint tie: Secure a splint to an injured limb.
Cold compress holder: Hold ice or a cold pack against an injury.
Burn cover: Loosely protect a burn with a clean shemagh until proper care is available.
Neck support: Provide limited support for minor neck strain (not for suspected spinal injuries).
Improvised rope: Twist it to lash gear or tie objects together.
Signal flag: Wave or hang it to attract rescuers.

Add a good pair of leather gloves to your kit. I'd recommend a Keystone Thumb design. they're more comfortable, provide better mobility, and hold up well during extended use.

Bikaner is the 2nd largest district in Rajasthan by total area, covering around 30,247.90 km².
Yet when it comes to infrastructure, urbanization, jobs, and modern development, it still ranks behind cities like Ajmer, Alwar, and Kota.
No major IT sector.
Very limited private job opportunities.
No malls.
No major entertainment zones or modern public spaces.
No big parks or proper hangout spots
Despite its massive size, historical importance, military presence, and cultural identity, the city still feels underdeveloped in many aspects — almost like a giant village spread across the desert.
In this deadly 45+°C heat, our caring government has finally thought about the citizens and introduced free roadside tyre cooling zones so your tyres can survive the scorching summer.
Some critics call it “bad roads” and “waterlogging”…
But only few understand innovation when they see it.
Amit Shah’s convoy with 27+ vehicles on the road. Meanwhile, common people are constantly told to save fuel, reduce usage, and make sacrifices “for the nation.”
And now petrol prices here jumped from ₹106 per liter to ₹114 per liter in just one week. For ordinary people, even a small increase hurts daily life — transport, food prices, work, everything gets affected.
The irony is unreal. These same people asking citizens to conserve fuel while travel in massive convoys that probably burn more petrol in a single trip than some families use in months.
And the funniest part? We are the ones who put them there, yet now even questioning this feels impossible.
