Question about honors section on common app

HI everyone! I am currently a rising senior and I had a question about the honors section on the common app. So I know it’s obviously for any honors/awards you have received, but I recently saw a tik tok video (I know not very reliable source please don’t shoot me for it) that you can put Ib diploma candidacy on it. I also saw another video that said you should not put any honor on it that you have not yet completed. So I am currently in ib and a candidate for the dimploma, additionally I am also doing the ap capstone diploma (taking ap research this senior year, all other requirements for it met). so I am wondering where I should put those two things and even if I should out them in a certain place in the first place.

EMT in high school

Hello everyone! As the title says I am wondering what the path is to becoming an EMT in high school. I know it varies by state and I am in Florida if that helps, I will be a senior next year and turning 18 literally on the first day of school. I did some research on this already but there was so much varying information and i am really confused. The main gist I got is that you can do the class/exam at 17 and then get certified at 18? (I also read somewhere that you need a high school diploma to do it). So if anybody in Florida has any info on this (including if there is a summer program I can do or something) that would be amazing! Thank you!

ILC studying for bmet

Hello guys! So this year I won BMET in my state and obviously going to ILC. I know its been a while since the states competition, but I wanted to make this post to reach out to anyone else that competed in bmet at SLC. But basically guys I'm trying to remember any questions I didn't know from the slc test and I thought some of yall might remember the topics you guys didnt know so I can study them now.

For me on the slc test I didn't know the questions about:

Micro vs macro shock

levels of the SDS

that one question about encryption techonolgies

the fact that people do research in high school genuinely makes me so mad

ok so i am a rising senior and i want to go into the medical field, besides looking at good undergrad schools that feed nicely into med schools, i have also considered a few bs/md programs, but the thing is anytime i read or watch a video of someone that got in into one of their programs, they somehow always have research at like frickin harvard or something with like person phd mentors and that genuinely makes me so so angry bc it now feels like a standard that if you dont have then you arnt gonna get anywhere remotely good

i myself have tried reaching out to a few proffesors at a nearby public univeristy to simply observe or help out with redundant tasks, and i didnt get anywhere there. the area where i live also has a mayo clinic research program for high schoolers so i applied to that and i didnt event get to the interview stage, and i think i have pretty good grades (top ten of my class) and good ecs (hosa states x2, hospital volunteering, shadowing, etc) and someone at my school who litterally won hosa internationals didnt get past the interview stage, there is just so mutch nepotism and it makes me so mad like bruh cuz the only kid that got in from my school had parents that work at mayo...
