Hi everyone. We are a team of two 15 year olds after we experienced two break ins that ruined our trips.

Im looking for feedback on my idea.

After both me and my co founder experienced a break in, we realized that traditional security is just an illusion. We both had camera footage, we both showed it to the police, and they both dismissed it. We lost our entire trips worth of stuff, ruining our trip.

Thats why we set out to solve this problem. Instead of making another passive recording device, we are making something that prevents it.

Currently, I am in the prototyping stage and I’m looking for whether people will buy this.

I am currently working on privacy focused, no cloud, no subscription device that uses a peer 2 peer mesh network. My only challenge to bring this to the market is capital. Does anyone have any suggestions for grants, funds, or any other way to get capital without giving up equity because I want to retain full control.

As the post says, I am looking for feedback on an Edge AI, Anti theft car security device. This product conceptualized after both me and my cousin experienced car break ins in SF and London, both in packed parking lots. Both places had the footage, we showed it to the cops, they didn't care. So we wanted to change that. That's why we are working towards making a fully edge AI device that has no cloud, no subscriptions, and works offline. It is also designed to use lights and a directed voice to talk to the thief, which should drastically decrease the chance of the theft happening. I wanted to see whether there is a market for this device and if this concept needs any refinements.
