Weird metal tool

I found this in a old toolbox with a bunch of random tools. It's seemingly solid bronze or brass except for the threaded part of the shaft which goes up to that first notch. I have no idea what it could be. The triangle is perfectly flat on the side pictured and then has a little bit of a curve on the other side. Does anyone know what this could be
