I am going short on BSE since NSE is getting listed. My thought process is BSE is getting good competition of this duopoly and people including institutions also move some of their funds from BSE to NSE.
I am also aware of most the news and buzz about NSE is already priced in in BSE , but at least for the current month option series BSE will stay at the current price or slightly fall. But won’t rise significantly! This is my analysis and I have shorted current month series.
Please let me know if my hypothesis will work or not?

Edit: For those of you wondering, what exactly I am doing here. I am not saying here BSE doob jayega, ultra bearish ho jayega. I am just saying its momentum will be muted. And hence I have sold 3600 CE call options to pocket 3.5 % of profits in half a month. My expectations is by end of September BSE will stay where it is and will not cross 3300
