I think we underestimate how weird your early 20s actually are.

Like, nobody really prepares you for this part.

You’re technically an adult, you can make your own decisions, get a job, move out, do whatever you want…

but at the same time you’re constantly thinking, “wait, am I doing this right?”

Some days I feel like I have everything figured out.

Other days I genuinely have no idea what I’m doing with my life.

And then you look around and everyone seems to be moving ahead. Someone got a job, someone moved abroad, someone is getting married, someone is making money, and you’re just… trying to get through the week.

Even friendships feel different. People you used to talk to every day suddenly become people you haven’t spoken to in months.

I guess nobody tells you that growing up also means slowly outgrowing parts of your old life.

Maybe that's just what your early 20s are supposed to be.

A little confusing, a little lonely, a little exciting, and honestly… kinda funny.

Anyone else feel this way or am I just overthinking everything?

Is everyone pretending to understand their job or is it just me? 😭

Because sometimes I’m nodding in meetings like “absolutely” while internally I’m fighting for my life trying to understand what bro just said 😭

Is this imposter syndrome or is everyone just collectively winging it?
