Update: Plumeria yellowing and drooping

Update: Plumeria yellowing and drooping

Update to the update: she needed water. I stuck her in the shower and flooded the pot again and she perked up in an hour.

I deep watered the plant after making the post and it perked up for like a day but now it looks even worse! Is it overwatering or do I need to water again??? I’ve never seen it this bad

Leaves yellowing and drooping

Hi all, this is my first time keeping a plant so I’m a complete novice! I got this plumeria and have been keeping it outside on west facing balcony, so it gets a lot of direct sunlight. The bottom leaves consistently start drooping and yellowing, it’s lost like 1-2 leaves every few days and I suspect all the bottom ones will go soon too. I don’t know what the problem is! Whenever I look it up, it either says under or overwatering lol and I don’t know which one. I test the soil before I water to make sure it’s dry, and it’s in a draining pot. Is it too hot? Where I am is consistently in the high 90s every single day, even into the night (Texas). The top of the plant looks good (pictures 2 and 3) and it’s still putting out new leaves, which I think are growing fine except two tiny ones recently turned black and dropped- haven’t seen that with the new ones yet though. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

[product request] gentle skincare for already decent skin?

Hi! I’ve never had a skincare routine before due to my skin being relatively clear all my life and not ever really having breakouts or acne. The one time I did try to start a routine is when I started breaking out, so I’ve been putting it off. However I really want to start taking care of my skin because neglecting it just because it seems fine surely is not the right thing to do here- I picked up some of the most basic skincare from Muji (light moisturizing milk, mild face soap, and an oil cleanser) because I’m scared of messing up my skin with anything harsh like I did last time, as well as a beauty of Joseon glow serum that I’m using at night few times a week. I use the moisturizer every night after I shower, and the face soap and cleanser whenever I wear makeup, which is rarely. I’m not sure if I notice any difference though.

What I’m really after is that glowy bouncy “glass skin” look, and I would deeply appreciate any product recs that aren’t too harsh that could achieve that look, if there are any. I’m a total novice here lol. Thank you!

Recs for last restaurant to visit before I move away from the city?

Hi! I’m graduating soon and thus will be moving away from NYC. I have one more day where I could do lunch or breakfast (preferably lunch) and I can’t figure out where I should go. Really looking for any recs! Open to anywhere in Manhattan and also willing to head into Brooklyn. Bonus if it’s a sit down place near somewhere I can also stop to get something quick and handheld like a really good pizza or bagel. Hoping for no more than like 75 bucks for main and app + maybe a fun non-alcoholic drink

For context, these are all places that I’ve eaten at and enjoyed, categorized somewhat arbitrarily:

Japanese: okiburo house of tsukemen, tonchin, raku (LOVED), izakaya mew, Tabetomo, Taishoken (thought was just okay), Ichiran
Korean: BCD, Cho dang gol, Nowon (didn’t rly like)
Viet: LOVED Moc Mac.
Chinese: birds of a feather, breeze… not rly looking for more Szechuan. Also done a lot of Chinatown crawls. Been to flushing already, and it’s a bit out of the way but would be willing to go if there’s something really recommended.
Pizza: Lindustrie and mamas too (I preferred
mamas too).
Bagels: Apollo, Best, and Pop up bagels.
And I’m a fiend for Froyo so I’ve already been to Culture, Madison Fare, Go Greek, Myka, Mimi’s, 16 handles, pinkberry… but am always down to go try some new Froyo if it’s recommended.

Sorry if this is a frequently asked question- I’m on the sub all the time but was hoping for some recs based on where I’ve already been I guess!
Thanks!
