I have been using gyroid 95% infill but I think it is taking a toll on my tall parts because of the shaking. Is there a preferred infill for the 2a stuff?
I have a bed slinger and while I’m not home to watch them fail, it seems that the vibrations are breaking bed adhesion. I’ve washed my plate and used white glue. Getting close to going hardcore old school and using a sugar slurry.
What’s the deal with the back order? I tried to email them last week and no response yet.
Edit: pctg looks awesome but it is fragile like glass. I was going to buy pa612 cf but it also looks like it is also brittle. So I just said screw it and bought a spool of poly maker pla pro.
So it’s getting hot outside, what do you guys print in that won’t get soft? I bought some PCTG to try since it seems to have excellent layer adhesion and pretty good heat resistance.
I haven’t tried to anneal anything but I hear pla+ takes that well. Thoughts?
I beat the hell out of the barrel to get it into the upper and I cannot for the life of me get the pin in. Is there a trick for this? Looking through the hole it looks like the pin should go. The charging button holes are forward like they should be.
Any ideas about this? Thanks.
So I found the ATRH download but I’m already printing the CZAR v3. The ATRH models reuse the oem trigger but it’s only $25 for an AR FCG for the one that is 98% done printing…
Do I care about using the factory trigger vs the AR? The CZAR one has pic rails for a dot and ~~stock ~~ brace so that is nice.
Is one better than the other? If I should be printing the ATRH version, which subversion is better? Is printing flat on the build plate the way to go for ATRH? I didn’t get any warnings for unsupported sections. Does the ATRH version allow reuse of the wood grip?
If I’m using a receiver that has a pic rail on it, is there any way to reuse the wire stock? I suppose I’m looking for the opposite of a pic stock to dovetail adapter, which does not seem to exist.
