Probably should’ve asked this question a month or two ago. Got a couple of suppressors at a smaller shop around here, but the transfer fee has been kind of nutty at $160. Saw another post on here that some places only charge $45… Anyone know of a shop around Norfolk/Newport News that’s closer to that or at least between the two?
Planning an SBR build and am between a 10.3 DD Mk18 with the RC2 (or similar) and a 12.5 Centurion Mk12 barrel with an AEM5k. Couldn’t be happier with my AEM5 but didn’t see a the k on Pew to compare and obviously videos aren’t great for that.
Mind-boggling how much of a difference suppressors make even shooting supers. Hoping to pick up a AEM5K before July for a MK18ish build Im planning. Enjoying a free state while it lasts after getting out of LA.
Checked out Bear Swamp today and it was a pretty chill range. I was able to go as a walk on with no membership for $30 a hour , but doubt anyone was running a clock on me. Targets were a bit sparse for the 3 and 400 yard bays but it was still a cool spot.
Moved across the country to finish this damn thing.
