Hello, my kitty, 2 years old, has been pooping outside her litter box sometimes. Quite large loads, small poops just… a LOT of poop all at once. I took her to the vet and brought a sample. They tested it and checked her. The test came back fine, nothing was found, and she seemed healthy they said. She did it some more, and I took her back and they suggested anxiety medicine. (A year ago I moved back in with my mom, and my cat is afraid of her dog, which is also still puppy) So I’ve been using the ear medicine since she’s not good at taking oral medicine. It seemed to be helping her chill out. But she was still pooping… and also was having a slight attitude one morning and that’s not normal for her, she’s a very sweet and cuddly kitty. So I called the vet and explained, they gave me antibiotics to give her to see if there’s something there that they couldn’t see with the previous test on her stool. So I did that for 7 days, absolute torture for her I always felt bad after having to pop the liquid medicine in her mouth. Stressed her out. She’s been fine for about a week and a half since finishing the medicine and then this morning I smelled poop and found it in the kitchen. The dog was in her crate as well… so I’m just not understanding anymore. Her appetite is fine. I’m wondering if she’s eating too fast? I’ve started giving her smaller portions. (She eats Meow Mix) I’m also searching for possibly digestive health dry food for her. But I’m not sure which is the best. What would you suggest she try? I’m wondering if she just has a sensitive tummy. I also wanted to have hairball control since it’s allergy season and the pets have been licking more. Thank you in advance ❤️
