Why is my baby so small

Why is my baby so small

Every adult leopard gecko I've seen was bigger than mine. She's around 6 years old. Every once in a while she stops eating. I've taken her to the exotic vet clinic, they said that it's normal and she's basically just in “heat”. Nothing about her tail being so skinny and her being so small??? I'm worried, she's eating now, but will probably stop next spring. I wasn't the one to take care of her the past few years. She also had obvious issues with shedding. She lost a few fingertips because of it. She has a nice terrarium, a little house for shedding that I add water to every single day. A heating mat, light. She gets vitamins with every meal. She has clean water. But she was never big? The last time she was shedding I tried to help her, using a bowl with warm water, but it definitely hurt her, because she was trying to bite me, for the first time ever. She was wiggling around and all that. The vets just said ohhh yeah it happens a lot to leopard geckos. I feel like I failed her as an owner, but I never had a gecko before her and I tried to give her the perfect environment to live in. She also barely changed colours. When I bought her they said that she's a tangerine morph. But she still has a bunch of spots and lines and her colour is pretty dull. ☹️ what could be wrong?? Please help, thanks in advance.

Help our rescued goat

In short: two goats were rescued from some religious stuff and decided to be kept as pets, the black male goat was coughing, the brown female one seemed okay. After a week, brown one suddenly passed. We saw her yesterday evening, she was sitting in the corner. Today she was lying in the same corner, but not alive. A bunch of sticky spots on her body. Black goatling has pink eyelids, 3 FAMACHA I think??? we checked, so apparently it's not a worm? Seems like infection. He also has diarrhea. He used to be energetic and friendly, but in one day he lost all the energy and struggles to get up. The vet that we know doesn't work with farm animals, so while figuring it out we're asking reddit and researching. Sorry, but we don't know the temperature, since the thermometer is pretty expensive. We only had them for a few days, but the diet was mostly hay and some vegetables, like lettuce. We gave him a little bath, washed his butt to prevent fly strike. Help our little JarJar 💔🐐

Cory Story update #3

Turns out, besides mama kitty there was also another baby. She was hiding last time, so nobody noticed her. We took both of them to the vet. Mama is in a very good condition, she basically doesn't have any health issues. The kitten has ringworms, but so do her siblings. The family reunited, they're all getting cozy in their room 🐈🐈‍⬛❤️‍🩹

Cory update #2

We came back to the shawarma place and found Cory's siblings. 3 other kittens, all look healthier than our girl. They are chubbier and only one of them has some eye infection (?) Mama kitty was also there. We took the babies and are on our way to the vet rn. One of them is black, meows and climbs on the shoulder just like Cory did. They all have huge ears and funny faces. Don't worry little Cory, we will take care of your siblings and might later take your mama ❤️‍🩹

“I think you are the first person to see that cats are in fact ridiculous. They're silly and cuddly. And lonely and frightened and brave. Like us. One day, I don't think it will be so peculiar to have a cat in the house as a little pet.” - Emily Richardson-Wain

Little Cory update.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Straycats/s/KgizFlEM19

Little Cory didn't survive the surgery. Apparently, she was too small and weak, she didn't have enough blood and she bled out. I'm so fucking angry and heartbroken. We didn't expect that to happen. She was just a little kitten. The beginning of her life was lonely and scary, but at least for a few hours she felt loved and cared for. She got a name. We found her next to a shawarma place. She was smaller than a shawarma, we were comparing her to the paper bag. Now we got her back inside one. Just a little kitten and her little but impactful life. See you later, little baby, your parents miss you something awful. 🐈‍⬛💫
