Has anyone had knee surgery at this hospital? What can I expect? What was your experience like? And how long did you have to wait for an op date?

I love this show but does anyone else think the time between seasons releasing is too long? S3 was released in Jan 2025. We are coming up to almost 2 years since then :/

(I appreciate it couldn’t be released due to obvious reasons this year but I feel like the situation is under control now).

I just joined darwin. I’m sure I entered my middle name but now it’s not showing on the certificate. They also haven’t emailed me (?) but I can log into the portal to view my certificate.

Do I need to contact them to get my middle name added on (maybe I did forget it), and shouldn’t I be receiving a confirmation email from them? They took a £100 deposit.

Has anyone here had a dynamic knee mri for their injury? I had one recently (waiting for the results) and I found it quite painful.

It would be interesting to see what your symptoms were and what the outcome was if you’ve had this.

(An mri in which they make you bend and straighten your leg to watch the movement)

Hi mri rads, I was hoping if someone could cure my curiosity. I’ve recently had 2 knee mris and the final sequence has sounded like a long wave and it lasts for about 4-5 minutes ? I don’t know how to describe it, but both times it’s happened as my final sequence . I never heard it on my spine mri or head mri, (I am not mr trained yet), I was quite curious to know what sequence this is if you know please? Xx

We haven’t seen Kate or bill all summer apart from the obviously forced commonwealth game match. They said this would be a summer to remember for George.

What do you think they’ve gotten up to and where do you think they’ve gone? Before we had European pap pictures but it’s like they’ve disappeared of the face of the earth!

Has anyone had a diagnostic arthroscopy that has found a problem that the mri did not? Would love to hear your stories

Hi. I was just wondering if anyone has any facts or stats about arthroscopic trochleoplasties vs open. My dr is proposing an open one. I know it’s relatively new so it’s difficult to find information.

Hi, I am due to have multiple knee surgeries soon. I am now scared and I have thought ‘what if I am exaggerating my symptoms and pain and injuries’ ‘what if I really don’t need surgery and I get worse’.

The proposed surgeries are a trochleoplasty, mfpl, tto or ttt and a maci or oats.

I do have dysplasia and I do have maltracking and I do have fissuring but it makes me scared still that what if I’ve exaggerated the ‘subluxations’ I’ve experienced. What if they weren’t that at all.

Has anyone else felt the same?

I was wondering if anyone could kindly advise me on further radiation protection for CT (in the context of an interview question). I elaborated on the below but they said I still missed quite a few points. (Not in order)

Ensure doors are locked
Ensure warning lights are on and functional
Ensure correct patient is ID’d, selected on the machine and monitor.
Pregnancy check. (Form A/B)
Go through contrast questionnaire with patient twice
Check previous exams
Ensure it has been vetted and is still justified
Correct positioning and correct protocols selected
Flush cannula to ensure it works so contrast can get through to minimise repeat slices
Ensure correct trigger points for contrast depending on which phase of the scan is required, so you don’t repeat
Process examination and check PACs so images aren’t lost.
