Visiting Wailea for the first time!

Hi there! We have stayed in Kaanapali before but decided to check out Wailea on our upcoming trip. I have a few questions:

  1. We are landing around lunch time. What would be a good place to stop for a casual lunch on the way to Wailea?

  2. Are there any good running paths around the resorts in Wailea? Kaanapali has that great stretch that connects all of the hotels and I’m hoping something similar exists in Wailea!

  3. We have a few restaurants on our list and I’m curious if you think we’re leaving out any must eat at spots or if you’d knock anything off of this list:

Monkeypod
Linea
Matteo’s
Mama’s Fish House
KOAST
Coconuts

  1. We will have a few little ones with us. Do you think the following excursions are worth it:

Surfing Goat Dairy
Maui Alpaca Farm (we are not otherwise planning to go to Haleakala)
Maui Ocean Center

Thank you in advance for your advice/guidance!

Birthday dinner recs

Looking for a nice birthday dinner spot for a mix of (mainly) adults and two little ones. Probably something up to around ~$100 pp food / minimal drinks. What are your favorite spots? Very open to different types of cuisine and different areas of Los Angeles.
