Hoarders
I’m convinced fashion influencers are all actually hoarders. There’s no other explanation for this level of compulsive shopping. This behavior is actually a major sign of impulse control disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and addiction.

My old boss once told me that his adult daughter received a letter from a work out apparel company stating that since she had ordered and returned SO many clothes, she was no longer allowed to shop at their company anymore. I was SHOCKED when he told me this and also that he felt comfortable sharing this with me.
I feel like this would be a wake up call that something wasn’t right with his daughter’s mental health. Instead it almost seemed like he couldn’t believe that someone would refuse them service.

Does anyone else feel like many fashion influencers just use showing off clothes as an excuse to get away with body checking? Their content feels less about personal style and more about compulsive shopping, finding a loophole to broadcast how little they weigh, and brag about wearing the smallest size available. This kind of content is pretty toxic. They promote overconsumption in addition to dangerously unhealthy weight ideals that fuels comparison all under the guise of fashion inspiration.
