Need help finding a college student that fits me

So I’m getting ready to start applying to colleges and could really use some advice/recommendations. I’m pretty open to a lot of different places, but I live in Connecticut and I definitely want to go out of state so I can experience something completely new.
I’m mainly looking at the East Coast, the South, and Texas area. I don’t really want to go all the way across the country, though so no where really past Texas.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

Around a 3.5–3.6 GPA (3.6 at the end of junior year, but my overall GPA will probably be closer to 3.5 because of freshman/sophomore grades)

Test optional because I didn’t do great on the SAT

Preferably D1 sports, especially somewhere with good football games and school spirit

Greek life because I’d really like to join a fraternity
A fun/active social scene, ideally a party school

Planning to major in Finance

Good internship and job opportunities after graduation

Ideally near a city or somewhere with good access to one (so finance jobs could reach out to me)

Most importantly, I don’t want college to put me into a ridiculous amount of debt. I’m trying to keep the total cost for 4 years under ~$160k

I’m not really looking for one specific type of school. I’d be open to a big state school, private school, college town, city, etc. as long as it fits most of these things.

I’m also trying to balance having a really fun college experience with actually getting a good career after graduation, so schools with good business/finance recruiting would be a big plus.

What schools would you recommend I look into or apply to? And if you went to one of the schools you recommend, I’d love to hear what you thought of the social life, Greek life, football/sports, and career opportunities.

New Stick

So I’m getting a new stick for my senior year of high school lacrosse. I’ve already decided on the shaft and I’m going with the Warrior Evo QX2. Now I just need help choosing a head.

I’m not a super flashy guy and I like to keep my gear clean and simple, so I’m not really looking for bright colors or anything crazy. As a player, I’d say I’m more of a playmaker than anything, but I can definitely snipe shots and that’s where most of my goals come from.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a head that would fit my play style? I’d also appreciate any pocket recommendations. Thanks in advance for the help.

What sport?

I’ve been playing baseball since I was 4 years old, and now I’m a junior in high school. Last year, our team won the state championship, and this year we’re one game away from winning back-to-back titles.

The problem is that I’ve been stuck on JV all three years. My coach doesn’t really call people up based on stats or performance — it honestly feels more based on whether he knows or likes the player’s family. Right now there are 3 freshmen and 2 sophomores called up over me, even though I have a higher batting average and better fielding percentage than all of them.

They start every game, struggle constantly, and I’m sitting on the bench as a junior. I’m literally the only junior on JV, and it just sucks. Every time I actually get a chance to play, I do well. A few games ago I hit a single up the middle with 2 RBIs to tie the game.

Now I’m trying to figure out what I should do next year. Technically I’ll finally be on varsity as a senior, but realistically I probably still won’t play much, and I don’t want to spend my last year riding the bench feeling miserable.

A lot of my friends want me to play lacrosse instead. I played in 8th grade and honestly loved it. Part of me feels like I should just join the lacrosse team for my senior year and actually have fun. Baseball is fun when I get to play… but most of the time I don’t.

The only issue is my mom is strongly against me quitting baseball. When I told her I feel like I’m not good enough and barely play anyway, she basically said, “You’ve been playing this sport your whole life. You’re not quitting your senior year.”

I honestly don’t know what to do. Should I stick with baseball and hope things finally change, or should I move on and spend my last year doing something I’ll actually enjoy?
