Hello! I know every year there is a pickup for tshirts from each school/major, but I havent heard anything this year. Does anyone know when/where it is happening, or if I missed it? ;-;

Hi everyone ive been trying to get into M123 for Fall for a while, but it’s been full. I emailed Dr. Luo earlier and he told me that seats usually open up when the quarter starts, so I’ve been monitoring WebReg like a hawk.

I was really hoping the fee deadline/drop processing would free up a spot, but WebReg reopened today and it’s still full. I’m an incoming fourth-year Microbio major and only have a few quarters left, and I’ve wanted to take M123 for a long time because I’m really interested in computational biology. Moreover I was traveling and my in flight WiFi wasn’t working, so I unfortunately got to webreg too late.

Is anyone willing to give me their spot in the class? I know it’s a big ask but I would be so grateful. I might even be down to pay you or give something. I’m really desperate guys please help me. I’ve been on Webreg whenever possible trying to secure a spot with no luck 😭😭😭

I was also curious, has anyone managed to get into M123 specifically (or another full upper-div Bio Sci course) during Week 0/Week 1? Is it worth attending the first lecture even if I’m not enrolled?

Any advice/experience with M123 enrollment would be appreciated!!

I really need this course for my intended major!!! If anyone is taking it in the fall who wouldn't mind dropping, please let me know ;-; might even be willing to give u something for it (please i am desperate...)

Hey guys! Im curious if the world map still looks the same in seven havens. Has there been anything released about it? I think its possible the continents will still be in similar placing, however I am also not sure if Korra nerfed the world enough for that to also be different

Hi! I want to preface saying that whatever I say has no intended malice, disrespect, or any negativity intended :)

I am a 21 year old, and personally find a lot of Indian Idol to be kind of irritating. I feel like there is such an excess of old songs (the newer ones are mostly from movies being promoted), bringing on the same sets of guest judges, and doing things like inviting people from past seasons to compete (I just do not get it). I liked past seasons, especially the one with Anjana Padmanabhan. I know a lot has been speculated about if the shows are pre-recorded, and while I am personally unsure if this is true or not, the autotuning is quite heavy, and I really wish there were a way to at least mute the judges during performances for when we watch the show!!

For my comment about it being an excess of old songs, I want to clarify that I am not against old songs. I think it would just be amazing if they could vary the types of genres. It is definitely great to have themes like tributes to the older times, but I feel like it has recently gotten harder for me to relate to the show :( I feel like the cutoff is usually the early 2000s, and I would LOVE to *also* see songs after that, especially 2010 onwards. Ik its a matter of opinion but I genuinely think we have amazing albums from movies worth performing; like Piku, YJHD, Cocktail (1), etc.

I was wondering if anyone else had thoughts!

Hello! I am a BioSci student and just finished the 51A, 51B 51LB, and 51LC but had to drop 51C early on due to some health reasons. I will be taking Chem 51C, E109, and M116L this summer session 2. I am planning to brush up on my 51B knowledge before then and try to learn some stuff from open course 51C, but is this schedule doable? If not I will be dropping M116L.
