Entry-level Tax Associate resume — would love a critique before I start applying
Hey all, I'm getting ready to apply for entry-level Tax Associate roles in public accounting. I've passed FAR, AUD, and REG on the CPA exam so far, with my final section coming up later this year.
I don't have formal internship or firm experience yet, so my resume leans on academic projects plus tax prep I've done for myself and family members over the past few tax seasons. I tried to keep everything on here honest and specific rather than padded with generic resume-speak, but I know I could be missing blind spots.
Genuinely open to feedback — formatting, wording, whether the projects section is pulling its weight, or whether anything reads as unclear or unnecessary like the summary, or if I'm missing something. Mainly targeting mid-size and regional firms for now. Roast it if you need to, I'd rather hear it now than after 50 applications.
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to look.
