Starterd after FESS surgery
Hi everyone,
I never really suffered from migraines until I had FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery). During my recovery, I started experiencing severe migraines. My surgeon has reassured me that the surgery went well and there are no issues related to it.
My GP and local doctors have prescribed all the triptans, as well as rimegepant, but unfortunately nothing seems to help. I recently had about three weeks where the pain was more manageable, but for the past two weeks it's been so severe that I haven't been able to work.
My doctors have now approved me to start a CGRP treatment, and I'm really hoping it helps.
Does anyone have any tips for managing the pain while I wait for treatment to work?
Also, if you've had any experience with CGRP medications, I'd really appreciate hearing how you got on with them.
Thanks so much ❤️
