Hey all.

As said in the title, I cannot find a good guitar tone for an original im working on. It always sounds very muddy, compressed and thick. I want something nevermind-esque. I use amplitube 5.

I will post a link below (hopefully its allowed) of what I am talking about. I have tried Eq'ing it, I have tried different pedals, I have tried different guitars, effects you name it. It always comes out very muddy when it comes to continuous strumming as shown in the clip. It feels like an easy fix but just isnt. Any help would be widely appreciated. Thank you.

I am just after finishing my leaving certificate (high school/A levels for my british and american readers) days ago. It’s been weird being on this platform do the majority of a decade.
