I recently visited the ISKCON Temple (Bhubaneswar) in April with my friends as part of a small feast plan, and it turned out to be a really peaceful and refreshing experience.

The moment we entered the temple, the environment felt calm and positive. The place is clean, well-maintained, and has a very soothing atmosphere. We attended the aarti and kirtan, and honestly, the chanting and music created a very uplifting vibe.

Since we planned it as a feast outing, we also had prasadam, which was simple, fresh, and satisfying. Sitting together and sharing food in such a peaceful place made the experience even more special.

What I liked most:

  • Quiet and spiritual environment
  • Clean and organized temple premises
  • Beautiful aarti and devotional atmosphere
  • Good place for a simple and peaceful outing with friends

💡 Tips if you’re planning to visit:

  • Try to go during aarti time
  • Wear comfortable and respectful clothing
  • Spend some time sitting quietly inside
  • Ideal for short visits and relaxed plans

Overall, it’s not just a temple visit—it feels like a calm break from daily routine. If you’re in Bhubaneswar and looking for a peaceful place with friends or family, this is definitely worth visiting.

Recently visited Deomali, the highest peak in Odisha, with my family in January, and it was honestly one of the most refreshing trips we’ve had.

The drive itself was beautiful—curvy hill roads, greenery all around, and fresh mountain air. January weather was perfect, not too cold, making it comfortable for everyone in the family.

Reaching the top felt amazing. The view of rolling hills and open sky was calm and peaceful, and since it’s not too crowded, we could just sit, relax, and enjoy the moment without any rush.

What I liked most:

  • Clean and peaceful environment
  • Amazing hilltop views
  • Less crowded compared to other tourist spots
  • Great for family time and photography

💡 Tips if you’re planning:

  • Go early morning for the best views
  • Carry water and snacks
  • Wear comfortable clothes
  • Drive carefully on hill roads

Overall, Deomali feels more like a quiet escape than a typical tourist place. If you enjoy nature, fresh air, and calm vibes, this place is definitely worth visiting.

Anyone else been here? How was your experience?

I thought I knew what a spiritual place feels like… until I reached Puri.
There’s something different here — not just devotion, but a calm energy that stays with you.

Standing near Jagannath Temple, hearing the chants, and then walking towards the sea 🌊… it feels like faith and nature come together in one place.

And the Mahaprasad 🍛 — simple, sacred, and shared with everyone — makes the experience even more meaningful.

Ayodhya inspires devotion… but Puri lets you feel it in every moment.

Have you ever felt this kind of connection in a place?
