How do I remove wax around my ear tube?

Second opinion
Has anyone used the second opinion services offered by Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, UCSF, etc? If so, I’d like to hear your experience to see if this may be a good fit for our case.
My family member had a successful liver transplant in Jan 2025, got sick with a virus in Sept 2025, recovered, went to an in-patient rehab facility, then quickly declined. Our care team is saying they have no answers. In our case, this could be life or death but I still would like to hear some personal input.
ETA: we would have to do this via telehealth as the patient is not stable enough to be transported. I worry that his current care team won’t agree to work with whoever we ask for a second opinion.
