Am I (26F) overreacting or are these things actually weird? My boyfriend (29M) says they’re completely normal

So my boyfriend and I were talking casually when he mentioned that he sometimes playfully spanks his mom on the butt. Apparently, sometimes she laughs and sometimes she gets annoyed. I told him I found that weird and inappropriate because personally I can’t imagine doing that with my mom. He said I was making their relationship weird when it was obviously funny and he liked annoying her like that, he’s been doing it since he was a kid and it was obviously just a joke. His friend was sitting with him and agreed with me but he dismissed both of us.
Today, something else happened. I was reading out the title of a Reddit post that said something like “My mom touches herself in front of the family,” and my boyfriend casually goes, “Everyone does it.”
I was like what? And he started laughing and asking if I didn’t do it and then asked if my mom didn’t either. I was genuinely confuse so I asked him what was he was talking about he started laughing and ignored my question but i pushed and told him to explain properly.
He then described a woman opening her legs and putting her hands under her shirt? down her pants? idk. He immediately followed it up with “everyone gets itchy, what’s the big deal? you’re making me describe it and you’re making it sound weird”
obviously scratching yourself because you’re itchy is one thing. But the way he initially said it, the way he laughed about it and the way he described it made me think he meant something else entirely. I told him that you don’t just do that openly in front of your family and he acted like I was making a big deal out of nothing.
And now I’m sitting here wondering if I’m missing something because these are two separate conversations where he’s said things about his relationship with his mom that I find genuinely weird.
I’m not saying there’s anything sexual going on and I’m not trying to make normal bodily functions weird. But the spanking thing AND the way he casually talked about touching yourself in front of family? Both conversations caught me off guard.
I want to know if these are things people actually consider normal because I’ve never encountered either situation as something casual or ordinary. I’m not asking whether every family has different boundaries. Obviously they do. I’m asking whether these specific behaviours are actually common or whether most people would find them weird too.

i never want my ex back but seeing him still ruins my mood

i broke up with my ex more than 2 years ago. he was physically and emotionally abusive, threatened me multiple times and after the breakup he started a smear campaign against me which my boyfriend knows about.

the thing confusing me is that I dont want my ex back. i avoid all the places where i think he might be and honestly i hate the version of myself i became during that relationship but whenever i accidentally see him in someone elses story or hear about him, i still get anxious and sad.

what’s even weirder is that part of me also wants to see him again in real life someday even though i know i would never actually talk to him because of everything that has happened in the past and because I genuinely don’t want to do anything with him

it’s like i emotionally react to him even though mentally i know i’m done. i can’t tell if this is unresolved trauma, curiosity, wanting closure or just my brain still associating him with a huge period of my life somehow?

has anyone else experienced this with an abusive ex specifically? did it eventually go away?
