Does your account have a permanent restriction?

USA

I'm looking to speak with anyone in the US whose PayPal account has a permanent restriction and contains funds that can't be withdrawn. Any amount of $ in the account works. Hoping to compare experiences and learn more about the problem. DM me.

You can sue a corporation in small claims. Here's how.

Location: nationwide USA

Fun fact: small claims court isn't just for disputes between individuals and small businesses.

We're all being nickled and dimed by the deceptive and fraudulent practices that corporations routinely employ. False or misleading advertisements. Defective products. Subscriptions that can't be canceled. Junk fees and inaccurate charges. Unredeemable credits. The list goes on and on, and it's exhausting.

The good news is that we don't have to wait for the government or class action attorneys to step in and stop these abuses. We can challenge them ourselves - in small claims court.

Depending on your state's consumer protection laws, you might be able to bring a small claims lawsuit to challenge a corporation that:

  • fails to properly refund you or cancel your account
  • uses misleading advertising tactics or makes false statements about a product
  • charges junk / hidden fees
  • represents that a product is brand new when it's actually been used/refurbished
  • misleads consumers about the need to purchase an additional, ongoing subscription to use a product they already bought
  • .... and so on.

No claim is "too small" for small claims - we need to stand up to corporate greed, $50 a time.

If you need help determining whether you might have a case for small claims court, or if you're looking for educational resources on how to navigate small claims yourself, please reach out to me. I work for a new nonprofit called the Small Claims Action Center, and my entire job is to educate people who want to sue corporations in small claims.

You can DM me here or email me at alexandria@smallclaimsaction.org. You can also check out our website - smallclaimsaction.org (which we'll be expanding and updating in the future).
