What is the best CV layout for character modelers?

Hey all, I've recently finished my Game Design Bachelor Degree and with no prior professional experience in the Industry want to look for starting positions and internships. I'm a intermediate 3D character artist in Germany and don't know what the ideal CV might look like. I often heard that different layouts are preferred in different fields (more aestethic in design and more minimal in other fields), but how do you know which one is best or is a standard like the havard layout the safest option? My question is if anyone knows which CV layout is preferred for this position or in Germany/Europe in the Game Industry?

Edit: I know that the portfolio is the biggest factor in getting jobs at the end and honestly mine is not ready yet. I will try to get it to an acceptable state until the end of the year, but without a CV that won't make sense anyway. I'm just wondering how to approach it

Could it be possible to install your own lenses?

It's probably not possible due to some technical reason's but I was wondering and couldn't find a straight answer yet.

Since the Steam Frame is not that much of an upgrade to the Quest 3 resolutionwise and it would be too expensive for Valve to insert a micro-oled screen into the Frame, wouldn't it be a smart move to sell insertable micro-oled screens, which customers could switch themselves? Or maybe a more expensive version with them already implemented.

The frame is supposed to be very repairable and modular, so I thought it could make sense. Maybe it's not really feasable, but would be cool nontheless.

Game sales and releases teasing a Frame release?

There are a lot of VR titles on sale until the 25th and others like Starvault unlock on that date. With some predictions hinting on a release of the Frame a few days earlier, this seems like it could be more than just a coincidence

What do you miss with current Avatars?

Hey I'm a 3D character-artist planning on making VRChat Avatars. I already have a pretty good vision on the type of brand I want to create, but aside from a lot of Youtube Videos on the topic, I'm not deep into the VRChat community myself yet.

My plan is to make professional and optimized game-ready models and fitting clothing/accessoire options. I would make all base-meshes and assets myself. My approach would be a stylized game look which contrasts the current mass of anime or e-boy/girl avatars. I also won't make NSFW models or oversexualised proportions etc.

My direction in terms of stylization would be something like Overwatch, Fortnite or Marvel Rivals. This is a very broad direction tho and I wouldn't try to copy any existing games, but to utilize the current popular game styles.

I think VR and VRChat itself might grow a lot in the coming years, especially with the SteamFrame release and future hardware since a lot of people are still waiting for their entry into the medium.

My question is if this is something the community might want or what is missing in the current creator-economy?

Upgrade from Zbrush 2022 to 2026

Hey guys,

I have bought the perpetual zbrush license in 2022 and recently tought about if it would be worth it to upgrade after so many years.

I'm not sure if I searched in the wrong areas, but I couldn't find an option to upgrade a already existing license; Only subscriptions.

My question is if an upgrade would be worth it and where I could find the option.
