Hi everyone. I have my first infusion next week. I've never had low iron but I was studying for the bar test this past winter (I passed) and finally got into the doctor. My numbers were "critical" 5% iron Saturation with 6 ferritin levels. Actual iron is 9.1. according to my portal. Can anyone explain this to me like a 5 year old? Also, what kind of side effects should I expect after the infusion? Background info my BP runs low (90/50) and I cannot tolerate pain meds. I had hyperemesis gravidarum with my kids while pregnant If they gives you any indication of my concern with nausea. Thank you
