Looking for remote/WFH architecture firms in India

Hi everyone,

I’m an architecture graduate from India looking for small architecture firms or startups that hire remotely.

Due to ongoing health issues, working on-site isn’t an option for me right now, so I’m specifically looking for WFH opportunities. I’m open to architecture, interior design, visualization, drafting, BIM, research, documentation, or any design-related roles.

If you know of any small firms, studios, or startups hiring remotely (or have worked with one yourself), I’d really appreciate your recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

I’m feeling completely lost after graduating architecture and could really use some advice.

I recently graduated with a B.Arch. Due to health issues, I don’t think I’ll be able to work on-site for the foreseeable future, so I’m looking for remote career options.

I’m also unsure if I want to stay in architecture because of the low pay. I’m considering learning BIM or switching to UI/UX, but I’m open to other careers too.

I’m looking for something that:
-Can be learned through online courses/self-study
-Has good remote opportunities
-Pays better than traditional architecture
-Is realistic to break into as a fresher

If you were in my position, what would you learn and why? I’d really appreciate hearing from people who’ve made a similar switch or work in these fields.

What are the best remote, better-paying career options for an architecture graduate?

I just graduated with a degree in architecture. My last semester was an internship, but I could only complete 5 of the required 6 months because of ongoing health issues.

I’ve now been at home for the last two months, and honestly, I don’t know when I’ll be physically able to work on-site again. Because of that, I’m looking for remote or work-from-home opportunities, but as a fresher I’m not even sure what realistic options exist.

I’m also questioning whether I want to stay in architecture long-term because of the low pay and long working hours.
I’ve been considering learning BIM, but I don’t know if it’s worth it or where to start. I’ve also thought about switching into UI/UX since it seems to have better salaries and more remote opportunities. Is UI/UX something I could realistically learn through online courses and build a career in without going back to university?

I’m open to other career paths as well. Ideally, I’m looking for something that:
Has decent long-term earning potential.
Offers remote opportunities.
Can be learned largely through self-study or online courses.
Doesn’t require years before becoming employable.

I’d really appreciate advice from people who’ve been in a similar situation or successfully switched careers. If you were starting over with an architecture degree today, what would you do?

looking for freelance

So I just got done with college, I haven’t received my graduation certificate yet, might take a month or two more but I’m looking for work. I have experience interning at a retail project firm and want to want to know how I can do freelance. I honestly don’t feel experienced enough but I see a lot of graduates and freshers freelancing.
I guess my question is:
How do I get the contacts, and where do I get guidance or help from since I don’t think I am skilled enough to manage a whole project on my own. Or should I just work in a firm under an experienced architect?
