Darter enemy animation set - testing hit splat color
Spawn, attack, hit, and death loop for a Darter enemy.
I am mostly unsure about the hit/death splat color. Red reads clearly, but black or yellow might fit the bug/robot tone better.

"Spot the player" readability pass for Botfestation.
The player can pass behind foreground props, enemies, and towers, so I added a dither/outline silhouette instead of letting them disappear completely.
This matters most when the player is buried in the middle of enemies.
Still tuning how strong it should be at game scale.
Botfestation is a 1-4 player incremental tower defense where players deploy towers, fight inside the swarm themselves, harvest resources during runs, and survive escalating techno-insect waves.
