I am so overwhelmed with happiness, I went for an interview on Wednesday, they confirmed on spot that they ant to hire me, perhaps going there with my family did the trick haha. Anyways, I've been suffering for months behind on rent and the whole shabang. I just wanted to share for anyone whos beeen applying, go in person and drop your CV the online thing works too but I got this job after my wife told me to go to warehouses to drop my CVs and they called me back 3 months later.

Looking if anyone could help me with transport cash for the month, I start on Monday, Its not too far but not a walking distance so I plan on taking the yellow tuk tuk on bolt which would be like R50 to go and come back daily ,there is no specific taxi route there since its a business park and most people walk to the township nearby and I cant walk cause I live further like 10km from the business park.

My landlord is threatening to change the locks to our backroom flat cause I'm behind rent with 2 months? Can he legally do this? I understand its his house but I'm concerned to be left out on the streets with my daughter and partner.

I am resorted to this as this things are bad for us. My wife is breastfeeding and we haven't had a proper meal since Thursday. My daughter also just started solids a few months back, I don't know what to do anymore, Ive tried to get funding to start my food stand business so I can earn an income, Ive been applying for jobs everyday. We have already identified an area where we can start selling

We plan on selling tea and coffee with scones and amagwinya in the morning and Kotas and sandwiches for the lunch for our late afternoon MENU.

My wife is really good at maths, so she can draft the financial plan on how much we need and how much we can realistically pay back the capital we received. I have bad credit, and my wife is a student, so she has no credit at all, so we're unable to get a loan from any institutions.

He keeps asking if I'm South African and that he doesn't want a permanent employee but rather someone he can pay weekly with no strings attached. It seems like he wants to employ foreign nationals. From his narrative and based on what he's saying he doesn't like to hire South Africans because based on his experience they don't stay too long and are often job hoppers.

So where can a young South African man who has a family to provide for get a job, to get his hands dirty i.e warehouse work or general worker jobs. I really need anything at this point. Hey everyone. Starting a new job this upcoming month. I'm two months behind on rent. My girlfriend and I had a baby but we painfully had to take her to live with my family last year December as we could not afford to take care of her when we were both unemployed. I just recently got a job through a recruitment agency and I really need help with just paying even 30% to my landlord so he can be patient for when my income comes in End of June.

We have absolutely no where to go and have no family in Gauteng. My girlfriend does small side hustles like cleaning for people or doing their laundry and gets about R350 a week which we use for food and toiletries.

I'm asking from the bottom of my heart, I know this economy is bad but if there's anyone who could help even with the little they give will contribute to putting a roof over our heads just to hold on until my salary comes end of June. I know it's too much to ask but I've decided to humble my self and ask🙏💜

My girlfriends friend was telling her to get a blesser to pay the rent for us and that was honestly the turning point for me to come ask. I can only imagine what my girl thinks of me, I feel like a failure unable to provide for my girlfriend who has stood by me all this time. And she could decide to leave me for a blesser but she hasn't.

I can pay monthly fee or weekly fee as I plan to drive bolt 6 days a week.
