Based on the lore I've looked into, non-Arisen NPCs can't even use these magical stones anyway. They probably just carry them around as pretty charms or gems, and maybe they can't even tell the difference between a fake and the real deal?

My Arisen and Pawn are finally Lv. 999

I'm so happy that my beloved characters are finally max level

I just wanted to show Capcom some love, like, 'Hey, I love this game so much that I maxed it out. Now please give us an expansion/DLC already!'

But my DD2 journey isn't over yet—I still have my alt account to play 😂

If you enjoy traveling with my Pawn, please feel free to add me on PS5 : MissDanteRinri

Does anyone else write backstories for their Arisen and Pawns?

Hi there, I was wondering, for those of you playing Dragon’s Dogma, do you create backstories or roles for your Arisen and Pawn? Or do you just play the game as it is?

As for me, absolutely! I’ve written really detailed stories and roles for both of them. I have so much fun roleplaying as my 'kids' (my characters)

If you don’t mind, I’d love to hear the stories of your Arisen and Pawn! Thanks in advance.

P.S. I’m a bit too shy to share my own lore right now because it's quite dark, but I'd love to read yours!

I really love the Straightforward and Kindhearted Pawns

In Dragon's Dogma 2, I really love the Straightforward and Kindhearted inclinations for Pawns. My current party has two Straightforward Pawns and one Kindhearted, and they’re always roasting or teasing each other.

I stay away from Calm because they act way too cool for school—it's like, 'Stop posing already!' As for Simple, they're a bit too jokey, and the English voice pitch is way too high for me (even the 'medium' setting sounds high). Plus, their dialogue feels like a complete copy-paste of Straightforward and Kindhearted lines. Super repetitive!

I bought the Capcom 2024 New Year’s postcard just for the Dragon’s Dogma characters (again!)

A few weeks ago, I was mindlessly scrolling through Mercari JP and stumbled upon this Capcom New Year’s postcard from 2024.

As soon as I saw those familiar faces, I snatched it up immediately—especially since the price was too good to pass up!

Please excuse my terrible photography skills, lol

In DD2, there's a bug with Sigurd. If you kill the dragon in Melve Village and then talk to him, you won't be able to give him gifts for the rest of the game. This means you can't befriend him for that entire save file.

However, if you avoid fighting the dragon and fight it at the Dragonsbreath Tower instead, Sigurd is receptive and you can give him gifts normally. He just might tease you a little 😂
