Using a Fitbit alongside Apple Watch Ultra? Is it worth it or frustrating?
Hey everyone,
I'm a long distance runner and I use an Apple Watch Ultra for tracking my runs. I'm looking at getting a screenless tracker like the Fitbit Air as a secondary device when my AWU is charging, when I'm sleeping, or when I just want to wear my automatic watch.
I'm obsessed with tracking everything and I need all the data to merge seamlessly into Apple Health. The idea in my head is let's say I walk 2k steps with my AWU and then switch to the Fitbit and walk 4k more, it will show 6k total steps in Apple Health, along with heart rate and sleep data.
If anyone has actually tried running a dual setup like this using third-party sync apps:
1.Does it actually complete your Apple Watch experience, or is it frustrating? Was the day-to-day experience smooth and valuable, or did you constantly fight sync delays, duplicate steps, and broken graphs?
2.Which sync app worked best for you to keep the background syncing as automatic and painless as possible?
Would love to hear from your experiences before deciding myself. Thanks!
