Game keeps crashing after recent update
After months of waiting for an update to fix the issue of the lack of autonomous romantic interactions, I finally go to play the Sims 4. I install the update and load my save to see if it’s truly fixed. And it is! Wonderful! I go to proceed with my Sim’s story…
Aaand the game crashes.
I reload the game multiple times. Keeps crashing after 5-10 minutes.
Fine. I’ll make a new save with a new Sim.
Game crashes during Sim creation.
I save the household as I make my new Sim in between crashes so I don’t have to completely start over.
After many more crashes, I then look up online how to fix this problem. I clear the EA app cache. I repair the game through the app. I download the latest NVIDIA graphics driver. I double check my PC disk space.
Finally finish making my Sim and go to move them into their house….
Game crashes.
WTH EA?! I waited 4 months to play the Sims 4 after bugged social interactions affecting my gameplay! Now I can’t play AT ALL!
How to I fix this guys?! (I’m on PC, and have never downloaded mods or cc)
