Question for females who use this lens. I am very interested in this lens, but the only reviews I can find are by males who say it is light and can easily handhold.

To fellow females who use this lens, what are your practical experiences with using it?

I’m F56 and currently use Z8 with the 180-600mm. I can handhold it, but use a Cotton Carrier for it when walking around.

EDIT: thank you all for your advice! My home base is rural Australia, but travel most of the year around Aus in a motorhome. I have been thinking about the situations / locations where I would like to use the 800. I think long hikes of hours I would use the 180 - 600 and locations where I am stationary / shorter walks (hides / wetlands etc) the 800 with a monopod would be good. I will also look into the adapter suggestions you mentioned.
