Hi all, for around 3 days my huion tablet (which i got it all the way back in late 2022) has been giving me problems. I first noticed something was up when it randomly started displaying these flickering horizontal lines that you can see in this post. Yesterday, my tablet kept displaying the "no signal, power saving mode" which im no stranger to, i figured i had to have the 3-in-1 cable at a certain angle but couldn't decipher if it was a problem with my HDMI port or the cable itself. After some fiddling it worked fine, but today i found the problem might be right by the port where the cable plugs in, i have still have to press it in a certain spot but now its completely given out.
the stylus still works if i change my work space to my laptop monitor, so i figured i should just replace the cable, however, i'm based in south africa and we have no local supplier for huion. and the shipping costs are INSANE. I'm not able to spend 53USD in just shipping alone. We do have a local XP-pen supplier where i found this cable, however theres little details about it so im rather skeptical.
My other main issue is that neither my desktop computer or my laptop has a usb-c port and my research keeps bringing up mixed responses on whether or not a multiport adapter would work and that it needs DisplayPort Alt mode?? I dont know... all of this is out of my realm, hence why i came here.
