Do I have any chance of getting into Tufts

Hi,

I’ll be going into my senior year in September with tufts fairy high in my list, and was hoping to hear from current students if they think I have any chance of getting in.

My main concern is the SAT and when I started my extracurriculars. I got a ~1260 on the PSAT but I didn’t have a chance to study for the actual SAT I’ll be taking on Saturday. I also didn’t start any of my extracurricular activity’s until my junior year (club, work, etc).

I have a 4.3 weighted GPA (3.9 unweighted), have 100+ animal fostering hours, and have been in a club for a year. I’m also going to be volunteering with the Red Cross and am hoping to get ~40 hrs with them before applying to college. I’ve also taken a couple dual enrollment classes and now have a 3.6 college GPA.

So I’m just wondering, do you guys think I could get in to Tufts? Do you think I need to submit SAT scores? And most importantly, are there any weaknesses In my application I could improve on this late in the game?

Thanks for the help!

Question about stats needed to get into UVM

Hi,

I’ll be going into my senior year with UVM as my first choice, so I’m looking for some opinions on whether or not I’ll get accepted. My main concern is the SAT, I got a ~1260 on the PSAT but I didn’t have a chance to study for the actual SAT I’ll be taking on Saturday.

So I’m just wondering, do you guys think I could get in without submitting SAT scores? And if not, what should I be aiming for? I already looked on the UVM site for student averages but I wanna hear advice from current students as well.

Thanks for the help!

I’ve gotten everything I wanted yet I still feel alone

Hi, this is going to be as much of a rant as advice so sorry about that, I just need to get this off my chest. So I’m a 17 yr old who has been on t for over a year and am getting top surgery in a few months. Its all I’ve ever wanted, yet I feel like with each step I’m still “waiting“ to feel happy.

Don’t get me wrong, testosterone has helped so much with my gender dysphoria, and I’m extremely excited to have top surgery, but I just feel so alone.

I don’t know any trans people, I only have 2 friends, both of which are cis and clearly don’t see me as a man, and I just feel like I'm doing something wrong?

I see all kinds of trans men my age or younger with partners, friends, and overall just living their best life yet here I am living the dream (in terms of trans men who want to start t/ get surgeries) and I still feel so alone and like no one will ever see me for who I truly am or want me.

So I guess I'm just wondering, does it get better? And does anyone else in a similar position feel this way?
