1 month after lower bleph at ROI

I’m writing this because I’m really happy with my progress so far and genuinely feel this was one of the best decisions I could have made. Of course, everyone’s results and healing journey will be different.

A big thank you to the Redditors who shared their reviews. I first heard about ROI through Sarah Yoo’s review, and I was able to secure her pricing by bookingat December 2025. I paid 2 million KRW for lower eyelid fat repositioning with fat transfer using fat taken from my abdomen.

From the beginning, Dr. You set realistic expectations, which I really appreciated. I was surprised to learn that my eye bags were caused by thinning fat rather than excess fat. He explained that my tear trough would still be present after surgery, but the bulging underneath would mostly disappear. He also mentioned that my case was more complex than many of his other patients because my skin is very thin and my eye bags were uneven.

I was incredibly nervous because this was my first surgery and the first time I had ever been under anaesthesia. My experience was actually very straightforward. Dr. You came into the operating room, asked if I was ready, and the next thing I remember was waking up in the recovery room.

My healing process involved quite a bit of bruising. Based on some of the reviews I’d read, I expected to have very little bruising, but everyone heals differently. I was also worried because my eyes produced a lot of discharge during the first week. Looking back, it really was just part of the healing process, so you just have to trust the process!

I still have some under-eye discolouration, but it’s easily covered with foundation. The biggest difference for me is that I no longer look constantly 😪
