Project idea for a new full stack developer?

As the title says, I wanna know what kind of projects can get a new full stack developer hired in 2026.

Does the project need to have AI integration?

What is it that the beginners should look out for when building their projects for portfolio?

[Seeking Referral] Upcoming CS grad looking for a Junior/Intern Full Stack role (Open to 1-2 week trial run)

Hey everyone,

I’m wrapping up my CS degree soon and actively looking for a **junior full-stac**k or **internship** role, either **remotely** or **locally**. I’ve been applying for months without any luck, so I figured I’d reach out here to see if anyone could point me in the right direction.

To ensure my skills meet industry standards, I’ve been building complex projects using **React**, **Next.js**, **TypeScript**, **Express**, **MongoDB**, and **PostgreSQL**. I’ve also got hands-on experience containerizing apps with **Docker** and setting up **CI/CD** pipelines. Aside from building, I’ve been grinding **LeetCode** daily.

Honestly, I just want a foot in the door to prove myself. I’m completely open to doing a 1-to-2-week trial run so you can see my code quality and work ethic firsthand. If I'm not a good fit after that, you can let me go with zero hard feelings.

If anyone’s hiring, or would even just be willing to look at my resume/GitHub and give me some harsh feedback, feel free to drop a comment below or shoot me a DM.

Appreciate it!
