Hello , I wish the best results to everyone here . So here’s our story , We decided to do IVF after 4 failed IUI attempts.
Decided to do IVF , and after injections and medicines etc , finally at the day of retrieval , just 6 eggs were retrieved , out of which 5 were mature , 3 unfertilised and 2 developed into embryos and now frozen .
Now the doctor says because of low AMH , less eggs have formed and suggested that we do another retrieval cycle with change of protocol , like less injections and more medicines . The doctor said that in some patients, because of injections the body goes into shutdown mode and produces less eggs . Is this true ? Am not so sure . I mean we took the injections so that maximum eggs are developed . Now doc is like because of the injections eggs were less . We are so confused . We want to go for another retrieval of eggs but what would be the best protocol to follow , like change of injections to different dosage or brand ? Pls advise if anyone can .
