Looking for a tattoo artist 🎣✨

Hello all!
I’m looking for an artist to design a pretty large, colorful rainbow trout tattoo in a neo-traditional/illustrative style. I want the trout to be fairly detailed with bold, clean linework and a have some movement (rather than just a straight side profile fish). I’d also like to incorporate some fishing elements like a lure, some fishing line and water/splashes around the fish. I have a roughhhh mock up of what im trying to describe, but I’m definitely open to the artist getting creative with the overall composition.
The biggest thing I’m looking for is bold colors. I want really vibrant, saturated rainbow trout colors.. the turquoises, bright pink, silvery blues (like periwinkle), orangey-gold fins etc. Think more-so jewel-toned rather than muted or super realistic.
I also really want a glitter/sparkle effect incorporated into the coloring, mainly through the pink center area of the fish and potentially the water too. Basically, I want something that still has the boldness and detail of a badass neo-traditional fishing tattoo, but with a much brighter, prettier, glittery color palette lol. If anyone knows someone who absolutely kills vibrant color, neo-traditional/illustrative work, and especially glitter tattoos, please send the reference my way! 🩷🎣✨ Thank you!!

No judgement needed, just advice

I’m NOT pregnant let’s start there.. but I accidentally pulled my IUD out (it’s a long story but basically I started cramping heavily out of nowhere, while menstruating, it was very different from any menstrual cramps I’ve everrrr experienced before and basically I thought maybeeee I had 2 tampons in me — I had already taken the 1 out. I felt inside and felt what felt like the tip of a tampon string but in fact was my IUD strings. They had a piece of my very long hair tangled in a ball around the strings which is what I felt, thinking that was the knot of a tampon string) and I haven’t gotten a new IUD because it was gonna come out in October anyway, and my boyfriend and I decided there’s no need for me to get a new one 🥹🩷🤞
I am SO excited and hopeful about becoming pregnant and starting a family at some point, but I am struggling right now. I was a heavy 420 smoker, but I knew that I should quit now in case I do get pregnant. So, I HAVE quit, cold turkey, but my goddddd it has been so hard. I also would ideally try to breastfeed/pump so I guess I’m just sitting here realizing that I won’t be smoking for awhileeeee. Also, I’m 1099 at a funeral home (I’m a preplanner only, not a mortician or funeral director) which means I don’t have health insurance unless I wanna pay for it out of pocket. I AM paying for it privately and right now, it’s affordable, but the way they explained it once I become pregnant, I will be paying nearly $900/month for (good, albeit) coverage. I make ~okayyyy money, but after taxes, I’m definitely NOT rolling in the dough lol. And I’d rather put $900 towards baby stuff than freaking health insurance. So I’m thinking about getting a W-2 job (with health insurance obviously) and a lot of the employers I would apply to absolutely drug test, so quitting now even if I don’t get pregnant right away will set me up best to pass a drug test for future employers.
It’s just hard, and idk what to do to get through the cravings other than just constantlyyyyy telling myself “no, you can’t”. I feel miserable lol but then I also feel guilty for craving it sooo badly cuz I guess im just like.. in my head thinking “the possibility of pregnancy should be a solid enough reason and motivator”, and I guess it is, but I’m still struggling so bad and yeah.
I could use advice from the 420 ladies who also quit, whether it was before or after you found out you were pregnant. How long did it take for you to get over wanting to smoke? What did you do to keep your brain busy? And I’m open to anyyyyy other helpful advice on anything else you think I would benefit from reading.
Thank you all for reading through and thank you for those that wanna share advice🩷🩷🩷

How common are mock burials/graveside srvcs?

I do not intend to make this political, but full transparency, my question does come from learning about Charlie Kirk’s mock burial… I want this to just be open feedback from funeral/cemetery/the public on how often they have gone to or serviced a mock burial.
I’m curious, generally speaking, non specific to Charlie Kirk, why was there a mock burial for your decedent? what was the decedent’s end disposition (if known)?
Is there a legitimate reason to ever have a mock burial for a traditional/non cremation decedent??

Thank you all in advance

Accountant recommendations?

I have only ever worked W-2, aside from very minimal, extremely part time rideshare work. I have recently transitioned to 1099 work, and have never done this before. I feel like I’m being swallowed right now trying to keep up with everything, between work and personal life (which I don’t even have really), but tracking all of my receipts and expenses has been a LOT for me to keep up with. I also just genuinely don’t know what I should be keeping, what I shouldn’t etc. It’s just very confusing and a lot, and I’m not used to it. Anyway, I know I’m a bit overdue on filling, and that’s causing me anxiety just thinking about the interest and whatever.. so I blocked off August 4th awhile ago to spend that day trying to figure this all out.

I was hoping that if I made this post, there would be some suggestions on who you guys recommend I should use or who I should avoid. I really just need a professional to tell me what all I need to bring, walk me through how taxes/deductions are being figured, and mainly, help me file my taxes quarterly and help me stay on time. Thank you all in advance!!

Do Davenport police have anything better to do than exercise their racial prejudice?

Yeah yeah I’m well aware that not *all* cops are bad, but the bad ones absolutely exist. QC cops, especially Davenport police, has some of the most racially biased/racist law enforcement I have personally witnessed first hand. Thanking God that I know my rights. But the way a lot of local law enforcement try to operate around here makes my stomach turn. At least half of the force should not be in law-enforcement in my opinion. Stay safe out there y’all, and I pray for the safety for the handful of cops that can do their job while simultaneously not being a racist pig. Shame on the rest em.
