I've been wanting to get a job at Spencer's but basically everyone I've asked and everywhere online says they won't hire you if you don't know someone unless it's for the holidays or spirit, is this true or is there a chance I could get the job?

I have roughly 110 hours in the game according to PlayStation (though they might count when you're idle) and the only nocturnal arm I've managed to beat runs with are Lim and Oros, I've been switching through them just using whichever has gravest thirst but I'm not getting any better any advice?
Edit: after not using judgement for my arcana I have now beaten Chronos with Revaal and Eris with Zoraphet
