Built a UN job board to help my wife with her job search, thought I'd share it

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a small project I've been working on, that may help some of you in the painful job searches unjobtracker

My wife is currently looking for a new job within the UN system, and I noticed she was spending a lot of time going through different career websites. The existing job boards were useful, but the matching was often quite basic and there weren't enough filters.

I initially built this just to make her life easier, but she suggested I open it up to everyone, so here we are!

The job board is entirely free to use, including browsing listings, filtering jobs, and setting up weekly alerts. I tried to include an "eligibility" indicator for those who sign up and say a little bit more about their search (location, languages, domain of expertise, etc..). It's not perfect yet, but working on it to make it more precise

Still a work in progress, so feedback is welcome. Hope it helps some of you!

Cheers!

Hi everyone,

My main issue started around 2 years ago: sleep disturbance/nocturia. I often wake up after 4–5 hours needing to pee, and I never sleep more than 6 hours straight anymore (was usually sleeping easily 8 to 9 hours without waking up). And overall more tired than usual.

As nothing was improving, last summer I started doing tests and urine lab tests showed persistent microscopic hematuria several times in a row. There were also leukocytes in urine at first, but they decreased over time. Protein was slightly elevated/borderline on some tests (single sample, not whole day), while ACR and PCR were normal.

My family doc doesn’t seem too worried because ACR/PCR was normal, but I feel like I need to push for a nephrology referral.

CT scan and kidney/bladder ultrasound were normal. Urologist suspected I may have passed stones, but no crystals were ever found, and they weren’t concerned too.

My BP is usually around 115/80, highest recent was 125/85. My eGFR used to be around 110 for years, but in the last 2 years there's a visible decline of the average: 112, 104 97, 91, 109, 87 (test every 6 months due to Crohns). Will do another test next week.

Other important context:
I have also mild Crohn’s disease (no medication currently, took only 2 courses of budesonide years ago). And other frequent symptoms include heavy/tickly calves without no leg swelling, seeing also white foam on the edges of the toilet bowl that persists even after an hour

Reading online in the past few weeks I feel like this could be early kidney disease (igaN?) rather than something urological. Should I push for nephrology and ask for repeat ACR/PCR or anything else? My appointment is next week

I know I can’t be diagnosed here, but what could be the likely scenarios here? Reading around here I can relate to many of the experiences posted. This has been affecting me mentally a lot lately as I'm putting everything on hold and spending all my free time searching and trying to understand what's happening
