Update on the JJK-DnD module, added Hakari and fixed some other issues
I love cosmically ancient beings who voluntarily step down into tiny lizard bodies
Cursed/Vengeful Spirit Megumi concept
I tried to include something from everyone he has been compared/benched to, I wanted the design to mirror the original intention of him being constantly pressured to "live his potential" while being compared to people who already maxed out theirs.
I may go into more detail if asked but no one reads text on image posts, lol.
art of my DnD character whose in-game power is noclipping into a "separate plane of existence" and who, because of lore, is canonically aware of what people call "Backrooms"
Random encounter tables should be adjustable for party sizs
My attempt at making some JJK stuff into DnD homebrew, probably a dead horse but I wanted a shot.
Something of a question to sharpen the concept.
Firstly I don't follow JJK religiously, I'm asking because I want confirmation on the details before I write it out.
Into the main idea itself:
Could Megumi make a binding vow while still submerged? From what I understand, towards the end of the fight, Megumi regains the will to fight and tries to help Yuji from within. Could he, in this state, make a binding vow to help Yuji further? My idea is pretty simple, he would make a vow to forfeit all he has left, mostly his memories and self to summon Divine Dog, Totality one last time with all the benefits of the dead Shikigami, and of course, outside of Sukuna's control.
Megumi gets saved, but the vow does mean his brain is wiped clean due to the sacrifice condition, comparable to late stage dementia where he has very little grasp on reality.
Second. Could Sukuna's possession leave a lasting "ghost" on Megumi? Not a full technique or memories, but the neural ghost of him. The arrogance, the fighting knowledge, the learned technique, a true copy, that is not possession or soul manipulation, but a sustained delusion state in which Megumi's brain, wiped, genially gets lucid via believing he is Ryomen Sukuna?
Third, and this is closer to common knowledge but I wanna make sure, this would absolutely wreck a brain like that, yeah? The idea is that the terminal lucidity doesn't last, because Ghost-Sukuna immediately tries to use RCT or Shrine, which causes an immediate overload because the brain is mush after the vow, but the momentary revival of the neural synapses and Megumi's soul imprints causes the body to rapidly remake connections.
I'm just trying to check how close this is to being cannon adjacent or possible without extrapolating too much.
Thank you!
I'm sorry, Tiamat, but your statblock could have never prepared you for *checks notes* "Real Actual Fucking Revolver"
The Eels ate off bits of his back fin and the wing membranes, leg and arm are gone too.
