Having trouble understanding timing with the cylinder pawl, cylinder stop, etc.

Original designs were uploaded by ryandetous on thingiverse, they have an account on cults as well. blacktorchindustries had sold some of their work, even a buyer had commented that it was the same as the free model.

Description says it was modeled using original dimensions of an m203 heatshield, but a quick look at a surplus set you can see the differences. Conveniently, BTI's model has the same distinct features on detous' model.

Even uploaded detous' carbine-length heatshield model. Which he acknowledged himself.

Looking through BTI's other uploads, I can recognize some models reuploaded from grabcad. God knows where other models are from.

BTI's M16A2 handguards caught my eye because I have it in my own personal archive. I can't verify it anymore since the originals are gone, probably due to the content purge on grabcad. Only reuploads left floating around on gun-related cad sites.

Another question is what exactly is the criteria for verification? It means nothing at this point.
