Have yet to play the new expansion, but...

This is not negative fueled, I just had a little dream that they made the horses a bit more in their world, than just a horse.

Maybe some old school unicorns, with tails like lions, instead of horse tails, or give them small horns, floppy ears, why not fur, why not have them have deer hooves instead of horse hooves.

But I have dreamed of some sort of mounts since forever, so this is neat, can't wait to play it.

Nonstop crashing - A Graph. designers story with struggles

Funny title, but I mean it.

At work, I think over 2 months now I've been switching PCs 3 times, that includes my little laptop I'm currently sitting at, she is a real champ by now!

The problem is my pc's keep crashing, and yeah, maybe it is the pc, and maybe it's not, because it's always InDesign that starts the crash, and if it's really bad, it freezes my whole pc.

I just got a brand new pc last week, brand new from the factory. They just got it home, and it has been behaving fine. The minute I hear the IT guy is not in the building before Friday (or Monday), my pc have two crashes and has to be restarted manually.

What is going on with InDesign? Is the current update really so bad for everyone else, or is there something else going on? Did I pull the shortest straw this time?

Edit: I seem to have left this info out, idk why, this is a work pcs, we have an IT guy that have looked all of this over and been sniffing around the files to figure out why? But we are both a bit lost.

I don't know how to phrase a title, but let me try to explain it here.

I noticed that if I drag a PDF into InDesign, it will generate it as well as it can.
At my work, we tend to have A LOT of cloud folders, some of which I also, as a part of a graphic department, don't have access to.

Yet I have found some pictures I wanted to use, so I took the PDF I had with the pictures, dropped it into InDesign, which did the best it could. Here I thought, "Sometimes when I can't find my own pictures, I find them through Link - Edit original - Open with Image - Go to Link folder." I tried this here as well. I got so excited when I saw it actually linked me to a folder that I could access, so I shared the link with some colleagues, because they, too, would find these records useful.

Now I find out that if I close that PDF in InDesign or I close the folder, I no longer have access to it.

And here comes my question: Does InDesign generate a folder for me, with the pictures linked from the folder I don't have access to, so it more or less generates me a loophole to access those pictures?
