MotoGP19 as first game. Don't know anything about racing. Any tips? I assume ignorance about turning is the main setback. Redbull Rookie GP

Quick question: why are we threatened with a ban for posting a youtube link? Moderator please explain.

Anyway, This is my first racing game that I'm actually interested in playing. I don't know anything about racing or bikes. Can you give me any tips? I attached a video for reference. First few seconds of the video shows my bike setup, which should have minimalistic changes to stock. This is for the RedBull rookie GP.

Personally, I'm assuming ignorance about turning is the main issue. So how does one go about a turn? I use 100% of the break during the straight, leaning into the turn, and also while turning if my speed is more than like 60 km/h. When i feel the bike speed is perhaps 60km/h, i might reduce the strength of the breaking since I've heard it would lockup and cause the bike to fall over. Any advice about this part?

What about the throttle, should I alsways have my finger on the throttle but simply apply the break ontop of that while turning? Should the sum of throttle % and break % always be 100%? So like 80% but have my finger on 20% throttle? Or what? Should I ever throttle while turning? Throttle to gain speed or throttle to maintain turn speed?

I'm posting this now so I can hopefully wake up to replies, but i think im going to look at generic (non-bike specific) racing tips about apex and throttles/acceleration. I hope I gain something. But if its a waste of time, let me know lol.

And most importatly, if you watched the video, is this something theory can fix or is this just a skill issue? Is it impossible to improve? I am a M&K player, and struggle with controller accuracy. I have attached some joystick extenders to the L-thumb stick to give it more range. But I feel a racing wheel would be better lol.

Keybind and free look and shotgun ammo

  1. Is there a way to clear/remove a keybind and simply leave an item unbound?
  2. is there a way to remove the floaty sensation when using freelook?
  3. the mag manager didn't have anything related to shotgun shells, so how do I stock up on ammo? Is there a shell manager?
